This saddens me. So much of Lessig's work is legitimate concerning issues important to American citizens. It is too bad he is willing to sell the issues to politicians hoping to win votes from issues. I see Dean as being packaged as "new" but in all truth he represents the same tired, extreme, and dying politic of the liberal left. Partisanship should take a back seat to public interests. The only viable hope for proper copyright reforms, a reversal of the FCC rules that grow big media, and needed intervention in corporate reprisal against consumers (as in the RIAA's case), is for members of all parties to join together in agreement.
(Of course I was equally disheartened at the clearly partisan statement from the EFF about more people downloading filessahring software then voting for Bush.)
