I have had hassles with SpamCop as well - nothing as major as this, but twice they have blacklisted my web host (and mail forwarder) - once because of a bug in their own spam list software!

The real problem I agree is their "no appeal" attitude - the spamcop attitude seems to be "we are never wrong, if you get on a spam list all you can do is clean up your act, and *eventually* you'll automatically drop off the list again.

Anyway, I complained to my web host both times, and both times things got resolved within a couple of days - but then I am using a fairly big commercial host, so they probably have more clout than some.
