I've seen lots of different uses of the mickey meme but none so disturbing. I can imagine kids in the mouse masks wandering through a '40s cityscape stepping over dead bodies as air raid sirens wail through a faint fog of poison gas. What do you want to bet that in the current bioterror hype the administration is using to prepare us for war on Iraq, someone starts marketing an updated version. What current cartoon would best serve to mask our fears, Arthur, the Simpsons, Spongebob?
