"possession of compuer viruses would be a crime"

Huuuunnnh? Talk about blaming the victims... everyone infected "possesses" a virus.

Back in the days of boot-sector and .exe viruses, I could see how you could make possession of virus source code a crime, but with macro viruses, every victim is in possession of the source code.

Maybe they mean "possession with intent to disseminate"?

Or maybe it's just a big load of bad ideas looking for a home.

yeah...not to mention the people that collect viruses just so they can study them to see how they work

everything sucks
