How to provide disincentive for any inventor to come to market with a new product, ever 101.

I think this website is going to pre-emptively doom any court case they file. You could make an excellent case that they're trying to encourage people to go out, try the product, get (mildly) injured, and get rich.

I'm going to Mod out my Segway, with about 14 chrome rearview mirrors on it.

are they for real? "Potential new catch-phrase: why drink and drive when you can drink and It?" Which performs the amazing feat of scanning even worse than most of their prose....

Good! Im glad. Keep these things off the street! Remember, right before these things came out, and that one patent drawing picture came out , and it was curvy and that girl riding on ? Dangit that was stupid picture!

Yeah, as I recall that girl DIDN'T HAVE A FACE! Driving without facial features is extremely dangerous. By presenting a typical Ginger pilot as faceless, they're encouraging others to drive without a face. Sue the bastards now!

Let me get this straight - Dean Kamen has invested serious man years and dollars in an attempt to do something good for the planet. He sincerely believes he has created something that will benefit the common man, and he is trying to give it to the public at a very reasonable price. There is even some chance that he is right and it will work.

What does he get for his trouble? Parasites standing in line to try and use it as an excuse to get a piece of him. With good corporate citizens like USAILC on the job, all that the Mujahadeen need to do is settle back into their caves and wait while we gut out our country for them.

Segway-chasers aside, have they decided where it can be driven? Just on the sidewalk?

I dunno, Dan. The USAILC firm has snapshots in the Internet Archive going back to July 2001. I've emailed the info@ addy to see if they want to own up to it being a hoax.

In the interest of being recursive, can we start a website to sue usailc for suing it?
