Bonnie - Andgor Toys will do you a personalised action figure (same scale as a GI Joe), but they aren't cheap!

Well, it usually winds up inside out cause I'm too lazy to turn clothing right side out before I do laundry. But otherwise, nope.

I kinda suspect the process may have changed over the years, and I just got an early quality shirt.

CafePress books and cds, eh?

Only thing left is to do my zine through them so it'll look all glossy and impressive..of course that kinda ruins the whole DIY xerox mode to it all...

I'm still waiting for CafePress action figures and toys...

Bryant, do you machine wash it or not? Or do something like turn it inside out like you're supposed to?

If you machine wash and don't do special tricks, then yeah, you are the only one ;-)

So am I the only one who's had good luck with their T-shirts? I have a T-shirt from them, full color and fairly complex art, which has held up very nicely for something like three years now.

I just wish they'd branch out into doing black t-shirts economically! What, geeks don't wear black?? (I don't know if they'll even do black shirts any more, but it used to be that basically, they only did print-on-demand on white or gray: if you wanted black, you have to pre-pay for hundreds of them.)

Also, it's true, their white shirts are amazingly low quality. After three trips through the wash, they look like they're ten years old.

kisrael: Agreed...I must add though that their mousepads and mugs are really good quality.

Books: I'm really looking forward to that, actually...It may be the impetus for me to put out some writing :)

too bad their t-shirts are complete crap.

Great idea (on demand T's) that unfortunatley is kind of reliant on terrible execution (cheap virtually iron-on printing that goes all crumbly in the wash)
