Isn't one of the intuitive shapes of a sink designed so as to prevent water spillage from damaging your rare, imported marble, diamond encrusted floor?
Kind of reminds me of the "Emperor's Clothes" where these morons believe they've got this visionary, elitest appreciation the masses are just too gauche to comprehend.
Makes about as much sense as flat drinking glasses.

If you wanted to soak something, you could always get a bowl! :) Cool sink. Maybe it's not a sink, since you can't sink anything in it. Maybe it's a faucet.

I think this is meant for the bathroom and not for the kitchen. Anyway, people, who can afford this, will hardly do the dishes by hand.

Hey, my sink looks like this all the time. I just pile the dishes and then the cutting board has nowhere to go but the top.
I think their real market is in self-washing cutting boards.

Pretty cool sink, until your house guests mistake it for a euro-style urinal.

They shall all perish before the commercial might of my convex sink.

If I did tonight's dishwashing in this, there'd be water and scraps of broiled salmon all over the place.

i like the ones that have a faucet on the wall that flows into a large bowl sitting on a regular counter top.

Oh, yeah, pretty - but try washing a baby in it!
