I was surprised that he didn't even touch on the non-proprietary, non-commercial nature of the Internet -- remember the days when the 'net was considered a competitor of Compuserve, AOL, Prodigy, fledgeling MSN, etc...? -- but perhaps he just considered that too obvious.
