Walter Potter's works are fascinating! Coupled with thier vintage charm, these pieces are haunting and delightful!

I looked at the two faced kittens (and the other few mix
and match animals) and thought "cubist taxidermy".

Cory, The site you linked to is run by a friend of David Pescovitz. She is an interesting and amazing woman and does similar work to Potter. (She has a pigeon dressing an evening gown and gloves!) He would probably take you by there to meet her and see her very cool house/studio. He offered to take me and Charles.

It is for sale, though they are trying to keep the collection together for an asking price of $3 million. That collection is one of the most fantastic things I have ever seen.

Teresa and I have seen this! In the company of Terri Windling, at the Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor between Devon and Cornwall. It is one of the most truly disquieting things I have ever seen in my life.

Naturally, when we got back to New York, we had to tell Jack Womack about it, since it is an utterly Jack Womack sort of thing. Naturally, Jack already knew all about it, and had at least two books of photographs.

I recently heard that this small museum at the Jamaica Inn is being broken up. I don't remember where I heard this.
