 the correct school name is University of Texas DALLAS (UTD). i realize that this might seem like nitpicking, but UTD hasn't received credit because of misquotes far too many times...

 This reminds me of this futuristic aberration: (warning: adult/offensive material) RealDoll.com It is so disturbing to me I cannnot even handle it. My wife on the other hand sees it as quite humorous.

 Read Kurzweil's eye-opening book _The Age of Spiritual Machines_, which forecasts the future of artificial intelligence.

Here's an exercept:

"The year is 2029. The machines will convince us that they are conscious, that they have their own agenda worthy of our respect. They'll embody human qualities and claim to be human, and we'll believe them."
