The only thing that bugs me about this is that Lessig seems to imply that culture will only co-exist with technology and commerce.

What if culture ends up returning to its roots? Isn't music moving towards a point in which musician's real income may come not from the sale of recorded music, (an industry that only sprung up when recording technology arrived, and eventually expanded to move the musician and audience further and further apart) but will return to solely live performance?
