 Yeah, "Delta Thrives" didn't do much for me. Kind of indulgent and more about experimenting with the medium. But Spiders . . . the tension developed by this simple strip is amazing.

 It just gets better and better. Some of Sean's work recently has been uneven, but each episode of Spiders has been more intriguing and brilliant than the last. I love the detail he puts into his work.

 "Damn, this is some of the best sf on the Web."

It has the cocky spirit and technological savvy of a Bruce Sterling short. I can picture Leggy Starlitz selling Spiders to a (laughably optimistic) dictator who thinks they'll help him keep tabs on dissenters.

I love the fact that the story acknowledges that the open source surveillance system can be used by the enemy. Fast, cheap, and out of control...
