To this day, my favorite Trekbabe of all remains the very first one: Susan Oliver from The Cage, who died of cancer in 1990. Any woman who could look equally sexy in either green makeup and a brass bikini or blonde wearing a silver lamé miniskirt deserves damn near anyone's respect.

The immortal image of the woman missing her face thanks to Charlie X is not exactly sans impact, though.

Not only does it neatly sum up the zeitgeist of ST:TOS, it also totally explains why ST:TNG, Voyager, DS9, and Enterprise are all so friggin' boring.
