METRIC TIME is available on the web. The ten-hour clock is available through some links at http://zapatopi.net/ "Zapato Productions Int'l". Check out his desktop digital clock program at http://zapatopi.net/wmzcalock.html

I've seen that somewhere, too. Was it one of those tiny ads in the back of the New Yorker?

When Canada went metric someone came out with a cool clock that had 10 hours, evenly spaced.

You could always turn the dial upside down, and keep the normal time setting, or print out a small scrambled dial, and paste it inside your watch.

If you're a conceptual artist, simply give people the wrong time.

I love these clocks! Especially the exploding alarm clock...

I have a question related to /m1. Does anyone know where to get a misnumbered watch? I thought I saw a site offering a watch that had digits on the clock face in the wrong locations, but now I cannot find it. A half hour of Google did not turn anything up.

The half-bakery had a spate of clock ideas a few months back. The ideas are mostly driven by alternate ways to display time. Some of them have nice illustrations. Most are grossly impractical.

I've always been lusting after a funky clock, something crazy as what Roger Wood does. Such lovely clockworks.

However, I have this perverse desire for clocks that are not practical or are unusual in format: a reverse-face clock, a 24-hour clock (labelled from One to Twenty-Four), a Mars-time clock (telling me what time & day it is on Mars at x parallel), a moon-clock (telling the time & date of the moon's pahse, not just approximately) - you get the idea. Who knows why.
