I agree, it's a cheap shot to demonize the opposition by making one guy the personification of evil.

What is so "spectacular" about it? It is a 30 sec spot full of lies and over-exaggerations. Last time I checked, the congress passed the Patriot Act, not John Ashcroft. I'd say more, but I have a black helicopter waiting for me...
