Okay... what occupation exactly does my Billy bookcase represent?

Kinda the reverse here, where men are often named after doorknobs or dipsticks.

Okay, so what were the Poopli and Krunk pencilboxes named after?

Nice try at logic- but sadly not quite accurate. The dining tables and chairs are mostly place names (Swedish with a hint of Lappish), the dining chairs are mostly men's names, with the occasional place name here too. Bathroom storage has water-related names that are generally real or imaginary place names, with the occasional "unwatery" placename like Aspudden (a suburb of Stockholm) chucked in to confuse us. Again, bookcases and storage furniture are mostly place names, though I'm missing the proposed Norwegian connection: Fjällnäs, Liatorp, Grimle, etc. are all places in Sweden.

What of the Jerker desk? I've never met a man named Jerker.
