I think it would be fun to make a cat costume for your dog, and maybe vice-versa. Canine/feline cross dressing.

The shelter he grew up in (where he was named for his bowed
legs) just told us "shepherd mix".

By the way, it is kind of tricky to view images hosted at
tripod. You have to make sure the referer header is pointing
to tripod. Not that such a triffle would stop me, but it does
make it a tad harder than clicking a link.

Yeah, it looks like, among other things, dogs would get really hot wearing the bone-suit.
