I am decidedly skeptical. Stretched out how? In super-extended dance remix fashion, so the bass soloist will come in eight times with his first word before finally singing his solo?

Count me out, thanks.

This reminds me of a somewhat similar trick done by (I think) Stock, Hausen, and Walkman, where they took the Beach Boys' "Good Vibrations" and played it on a specially designed turntable that revolved at ONE revolution per minute.

(Unfortunately, I never got my own copy so if anyone has an extra they'd be willing to part with, or at least an MP3 recording of the aforementioned work, let me know.)
