 They sound like a bunch of hot-head wannabes. Remember how thousands of zealous Pakistanis rushed to Afghanistan ahead of the American strikes, vowing to defend Islam (read: the Taliban regime) against the infidels? This crowd wanted to do the same. Only they didn't get there. They puttered around China and India (?), asking the lady back home to wire money, and eventually gave up. Terrorists? Probably not. Evil? Doubtful. Illegal? Probably. Really stupid? Yes.

Apparently, there's nothing illegal about shooting weapons in gravel pits, but it will get you on watch list, which has what happened.

 Saw a Ricky Jay one-man in NY where he gives the monologue that accompanies these historic photos. Stefan, what's the deal with those muslims arrested in Portland? Gravel pit? Weapons?
