 Yet another reason to embed encypryption into all applications communicating over the network. And not Hollywood's version of encryption.

Not much can be done about the consolidation of the physical infrastructure, particularly given the current administrations embracing of ever-larger telecom monopolies.

 Content based pricing is a Bad Thing that should be fought at every level with every tool.

If we allow the telecom's to 'charge more for commodity bandwidth' based on the content that WE CREATE we are doomed.
