Hey, Antonio Meucci was cool. He and Garibaldi started a brewery together on Staten Island when Garibaldi was in exile following the collapse of the 1849 revolutions. Geez, doesn't anyone know that Elisha Gray invented the telephone -- and just a couple blocks down from my house too! I think I'll have to get the state legislature to take care of this.

Is it just me or is it bizarre that the Canadian and U.S. legislatures have nothing better to do than dispute who had priority over the telephone.

Now if they were arguing over who invented the vibrator or reality tv programming, maybe this would be interesting, but don't these people have real lives and jobs?
