Request Tracker - http://www.bestpractical.com/rt/ - is in many ways superior to Bugzilla. We use it at perl.org for tracking bugs in both perl5 and parrot - http://www.parrotcode.org/ ... I also use it for "tech support" like tasks; and to maintain my todo list. It's great. Oh, and the author is developing it on his iBook; so it does work on Mac OS X.

It's so funny to see this logged. I was talking about it with my dev team this week. We have a ton of stuff to keep track of on the project that I'm running and we've been missing something to contain it all. I think we're going to get it running next week.

Dan, Try FogBugz ( http://www.fogcreek.com/FogBUGZ/index.html). It's not free, but it's relatively inexpensive, and you can mess around with the source code all you want. I've found it to be extremely helpful on a number of different projects. |

Dan, You may want to consider RMTrack ( http://www.rmtrack.com). It's very user friendly and very configurable. The integrated screen capture tool is great for easily attaching a screen grab. The GUI workflow designer allows you to configure RMTrack's workflow to match your organizations workflow. Rob |
