Wow, great video ... and all I could think was "Hey, someone's stolen my mate's DJ name". Cos I've got a friend who lives in Brighton England who's done some great hip hop dj tracks. But here we have some US guys with a really cool video. He's doomed - he'll have to change his name ... wait up. It is him? My mate, who visiting me at the end of the week, has got the coolest video ever, and I didn't even know!

Guerrilla: It's not the best description, because obviously "bystanders" were part of it. I doubted they bothered to get permission from BART. What would you call it - "hit and run school of film?" "hit and run style?"

Okay, the plushies video is cool, but check this out:

It's Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nails' song "Hurt". It's awesome!

GC rocks an unreal amount of booty. The video for the game is also rockin, if a bit more polished. You can get it at http://www.gold-chains-worldwide.com/ . Um, as far as guerilla fillmmaking, this is pretty obviously staged, but still a good frickin' time.

All you nerds coming down for sxsw interactive, stick around for music and see the CHAAAAAAAAAINS.

I thought it was one of the most irritating things I've seen in weeks! The Illegal Art stuff was better, though. Punchie roolz! :-)

Marc: I love the Gold Chains video - I have a soft spot for guerrila filming.

Aren't they furries? I thought plushies were into stuffed animals.

things like that just make me happy. i'm glad someone followed through with the thought. i don't think the aligator really carries his weight though. he's just kind of standing there. the turtle taking off his shell is a nice touch.

I just can't get enough of Chali Tuna from the Jurassic 5 (the guy in the shark suit).
Here's an interview with DJ Format. The third page has some more clips from his forthcoming album 'Music For The Mature B-Boy' with an illustration of geriatic breakdancers.

I think a video of plushies acting out their roles in the food chain would be even better.
