 But does the Census cover robots masquerading as humans, living among us, watching all the time, just outside my window, hiding under my bed, posting to discussion boards under my name, renting the movies I want before I get there...

"Fleshless offspring?" Bah. They're simpleton slaves we owe not the slightest allegiance or affection to.

(If I could find it, I'd have a link here to a indescribably wonderful and horrifying clip from The Simpsons that shows Homer shooing away a pathetic, unfinished robot boy who had been cowering behind some boxes in the garage: "FA-THER! GIVE ME LEGS!")
