Now if only you could, like, do math that way.

Hmmm.

Seemed a bit inhumanly fast. Like the Flash.

I timed the stacking as shown in the video. 5 seconds.

The timer in the video announces 8.22 seconds.

That comes to a 64% speedup of the video.

This video is NOT being shown at actual speed.

I just timed her on my handy Timex and she consistently came out at about 8 seconds.

That's kind of neat and all, but I had to laugh at the page and the way they insist on calling this a "sport". Football is a sport. Reminds me of the scandal involving the world bridge championships a week or two back, when a player was stripped of his title because he refused to take a drug test (which they were insisting on all participants taking as part of their bid for Olympic sport status). Probably by 2010 cup-stacking will be an Olympic sport as well, along with jump-roping and marbles and ass-scratching and nose-picking. Where's it gonna end? In the future, will everything be an Olympic sport and will we all have gold-medals on our mantles? ("Yeah, check it out, Bob - I got that one for winning the two-handed pud-pulling event, a full two-seconds faster than the old record, which was held by a perv in Sweden...sure felt good to bring the gold back home to the good old U.S of A, I tellya...") I blame those damned synchronized swimmers for all of this. Now every fringe "sport" is out there pushing for Olympian status and at this point I wouldn't be surprised if Monopoly was considered as an event. Just a pet peeve, had to vent there, sorry. Video didn't seem sped up to me, by the way - anyways, I sure hope it's not, I'd hate to see the time-honored sport of cup-stacking take a black-eye to it's sterling reputation - how would you explain to your kids? It'd be worse than the Black Sox scandal.

The weirdest thing about it is the way it sends me into a hypnotic trance.

In response to JimmyOlsen. Ball room dancing has been named an Olympic sport so anything is possible. I'm voting for bowling, Full Contact Ulimate Frisbee, kicking children in the nuts and spitting watermelon seeds great distances.

i have watched this video several times the person who believes it is speeded up is wrong the stacking begins on 3 secs and finishes on 11 the stated 8.22 is correct and well done to the girl quality, i have not seen the video on this website but make the assumption that is the same on on ebaumsworld.com on video and then extreme video and on cup girl and the stated time is the correct one
Thanks for coming
