I thought at first this was a KDE app, which confused me for a while. I was wondering how this was different from the panels that already exist for linux, and why anyone would pay 25$ for it.
It seems that the major non-windows desktops (mac, gnome, kde) and converging. They all have panels to which launchers, applets, and other doo-dads can be added and tweaked. Windows seems to be content with five widgets: start button, launchers, window list, tray, and clock.
Gnome looks more like mac, and mac looks more like gnome every day. I find myself liking the mac these days, I don't see it as competition or a bunch of snooty morons. The world seems to be divided between those happy to be using unix-based systems, and windows users. How long can windows hold on?
