> Saravit took off his band-aid

Er, no serious danger of that. They also (as we English say) stick like buggery. They're probably using some kind of state of the art superglue that's banned in the west on safety grounds.

Sorry folks, turmeric (the vegetable - or ground root thereof - that is the source of curcumin) is already sold in capsules in health food stores and reputed also to be effective against rheumatoid arthritis and as a general anti-inflammatory. Indians are well aware of its health benefits, that's why they eat piles of the stuff. Indian band-aids also have it in the little antiseptic pad in the middle.

Is this another reason why India doesn't seem so upset about a possible nuclear exchange with pakistan?

Okay! It's time to put turmeric in gel capsules and sell it at $10 per bottle. Race you to the health-food store!

Curcumin is really a class of compounds. Lots of research devoted to these things. Looks like they are also used as anticancer agents and in alzheimer prevention. Just search 'curcumin' along with 'treatment.' All the better reason to get the house smelling permanently like curry.
