I'm really not into Disney but there's one giant exception: I have loved the Haunted Mansion since I had the 45rpm record/book. Too bad they're going to turn into a pile.
Eddie Murphy... y'know if another studio was producing this, it might work out fine. Sadly, you just know Disney is gonna have him ham it up... and then add a bunch of embarassing and tasteless 'soul brother' elements. They *will* put James Brown on the soundtrack. They *will* have a jive-talkin' homeboy ghost. There *will* be breakdancing B-ghosts in the haunted ballroom.
If you see this film a part of your childhood *will* be destroyed.
