Liz, I've checked with a major SF editor, who confirmed my belief that usually there is usually just one set of bluelines.
Bluelines are relatively expensive to do. Earlier proofs, which may have author's corrections, are not bluelines

Hi, Liz,
I hadn't thought of that, but you're right -- especially if the owner leaves it lying around on a coffeetable. This gives the Idoru bluelines a potential "Agrippa" tie-in....

OOOooohh, cool, a disappearing collectible. Bluelines are a species of blueprint, they fade over time. Over how much time? Well, they are light-sensitive, so if you read them a lot they will fade faster.
The website says that only one blueline per book; that's not so in my experience, but not many, 2 or 3.
