Perhaps this is why going to the gym when I'm depressed always cheers me up. It's not the "working-out-generating-endorphins" part, it's the "being-around-sweaty-guys" part.

Makes me wonder if they haven't performed a similar experiment with the genders swapped...?

I did the genders-swapped experiment inadvertently years ago. My knee is in almost constant low level pain from being hit by a car. One day I was laying between my then girlfriend's legs and got a good whiff of her thang. Felt good all over and the pain diminished quickly and dramatically.
