Cory, I have kind of an odd question for you. I'm visiting Disneyworld in April for the first time ever, and I'm wondering what attractions you'd recommend I visit to get the most out of "Down and Out". Are there any must-sees? Any off-the-beaten-path gems that'll enhance my reading experience?

Good question, Dan! Well, most of the action takes place in Liberty Square, so acquainting yourself with the Hall of the Presidents and the Haunted Mansion, as well as the paddle-boat and Tom Sawyer Island would be good news.

Also, there's a bit of action in the Pirates of the Carribean, down Main St, and in the Tiki Room.

Take a Monorail trip around the permiter of the Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon. If you want to be a total completist, hit the luau at the Polynesian and take in the (totally fantastic) show at the Adventurer's Club in Pleasure Island.

Have a great time in WDW! I'm utterly jealous.

Does the Adventurers' Club still have schedule of little sketches that take place in the various rooms? That's the way things were in . . . 1990? Whenever WorldCon was down there.

The eerie thing about the Adventurer's Club shows was seeing the actors take on different roles on different days. (My friends and I went back a few times, to catch the various sketches.)

It does! The Adventurer's Club is WDW's best-kept secret. It's brilliant.
