There has been discussion about how this is a terrible burden on the securities dealers, but it seems to be no less than common sense to me.

The securities dealers are more than capable of dealing with
this stuff. Though they might be upset that it comes at a time
when profits are thinner. Wall St is addicted to computers and
thrives on fast data access and extensive availablity of
historical data.
