Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the "Come On Eileen"/"Bring the Noise" mash-up? I've searched through Google but came up empty.

Not mashups, but better, IMO, was the efforts of Little Roger and the Goosebumps, which proved that:

a) the lyrics to Gilligan's Island go beautifully with Stairway to Heaven, and

b) Led Zeppelin have no sense of humor.

My faves of late reside on the Stark Effect website. The entire site has great, even hilarious stuff in it - Dictionaraoke (as heard on NPR) and "mic in track" has been mentioned recently, but his mashups are great too!
Good/Funny ones:
Slave It - "Yes "Leave It" vs. Britney Spears "Slave 4 U" "
Whoomp My Bitch Up - "Tag Team "Whoomp! There It Is" vs. Prodigy "Smack My Bitch Up"

I'm curious as to why Salon put up not one but TWO articles about mash-ups. Also, mash-ups are considered somewhat passe now by the mix scene.

What's weird/ironic about this article is that it's very similar to an article I wrote about mash-ups for Salon almost exactly one year ago: http://www.salon.com/tech/feature/2002/08/01/bootlegs/index.html
