A pretty obvious (to me) application would be to
embed a network of ShapeTapes in the elbows,
knees and other joints of a piece of clothing;
applications could include a gestural interface,
motion capture, and "talking with your hands".

Extra points for a silicon bag (or two) that has
a criss-cross array and a sensitive polar nub.
