Why is blogworld going nuts and linking all over the place to this remarkably vacant site? Yes, there's lots of metadata with pretty icons, which I may well steal for myself. But so what?

Sometimes we have to make hard choices in life.

Will I stay married to a spouse that berates me and makes me feel bad continually while simultaneously demanding more of my personal time until there is no me left? Or will I strike off into the unknown with what is left of my life and try to create something better, in a new love, a new life, a new direction.

Logically we can only truthfully look at the benefits and drawbacks of the spouse we know, even though that knowledge is clouded by proximity and history. Everything we plan for and expect for the future of the new choice is only an extrapolation of a small set of facts enhanced by our desires for a better relationship.

Live in the past, or move to the future?

The unfortunate part is that whatever decision an individual makes is useless, until we reach a critical mass of individuals motivated to change.

For me, there is only one choice. Take what we know of the past that is useful, leave the rest behind, and move to the future.
