Yes, to scare people into doing what he wants. WOMD don't have to "work", they just have to scare people. Kind of like the "bigger idiot" theory of investing.

 Yeah, encouraging news for residents of Toledo Ohio and the like.

Come to NYC and ride the crowded subway twice a day with me during a "high alert" and you'll understand why there is something to fear.

Resolve to disarm Saddam should not be diminished. He has spent all that time and money stockpiling them for a reason. I mean, he's not using VX nerve gas for hunting.

But "Publicity-hungry alarmist experts"? Um, it's called the Bush White House. (Oops, I mistyped that "Shite House" the first time through. Looks like my unconscious is smarter than me.)

 Interesting stuff. Publicity-hungry alarmist experts tend to come out of the cracks at time like these. This guy is a refreshing change.
