So many, and none I recognized. An acquaintance of mine has
a CA plate "SYSTEMV", I've seen CA plate "7FFFFFFF" in my
neighborhood, and Randal Swartz (of Perl fame) likes to talk
about his "SOURCE" license for his Oregon car.

Well, mine says "DARTMUD" in reference to an absolutely rockin' mud I've been playing on for years. Those of you who like such things ought to drop by and check it out. It's dartmud.com, unsurprisingly.
