I'm guessing that helicopters will take the logs out, but who knows.

What Craniac said. This looks like a real step forward in e-friendly logging. I esp. like how it operates on hills. Logging roads do a lot of damage. I do wonder how they'll buck those logs out of the forest. Does the cricket machine do it or do you drag them along the ground with some kind of robotic comealong?

(changed the word 'mechanized' for 'robotic'. A comealong IS a machine, albeit a simple one)

Seems like an alternative to environmentally-unfriendly logging roads. And when they get more advanced, you can add laser-cannons and use them to hunt stray humans, like that pesky John Connor.
