A federal judge ruled that "The Americans with Disabilities Act" does not apply to virtual space, so Southwest Airlines doesn't have to make its web site more accessible to the blind. I think this ruling has humongous implications.
Here are links to more info and more links of relevance, to what our responsibilities are to improve e-access, and whether there should be legal mandates. I believe that the vast majority of web sites, and software in support of computer usage, are hostile to people who do not have the latest technology, and who have disabilities.
