There's nothing quite as useful as a pile of spare oscilloscopes hanging around.

Heh! You know, just today I got a laptop, and jury rigged something tht ends up acting a lot like this dome thing with my old monitor stand, the cardboard box the monitor stand came in and a spiral bound book...the last two end up tilting forward, so that the book and laptop itself overhang my split keyboard. But the trouble with this (and with the dome things) is that the monitor is as far back as the keyboard is deep (this lcd is 1600x1200...tiny compared to what I'm used to) Given that the lid can be tiled all the way back, what would really be good is a very steep incline holder, which would raise the monitor to a good height as well as make sure the whole thing wasn't too deep to use...

Recently I bought a USB KVM switch so I can share the flat panel ViewSonic for my old beige G3 with my iBook. So I don't need to 'elevate' my iBook to proper viewing height. But I still recommend an elevated pad, such as the Podium Cool Pad on which to rest your iBook.

Could they have copied Palm.com(s) site any closer? When I first saw the site, I thought Palm had again spun off yet another company.

Cool looking product anyway...

Now if Apple would only design the iBook so the keyboard part could be folded backward and not get in your way when you're using the machine like this.

Are you implying that o-scopes are un-stylish? All I can say is form follows function, baby.
