I hope he has a detailed will worked out. It would be ashame to see his collection scattered to the four winds or sold off.

I met FA a few years back. He confirmed something I suspected, that George Pal had bought not only the copyright, but the film rights to Olaf Stapledon's _Odd John_.

I'm glad to hear it. I was there when noted SF fan Geri Sullivan finally got a hold of 4E at last year's worldcon con, and proudly stuck 11 foil stars to his badge. Each star represented 5 Worldcons -- it was, indeed, 4E's 55th Worldcon -- out of, at the time, 59 possible.

I dearly hope he recovers enough to make #56.

"a detailed will"

I don't know about a will, but the disposition of all his stuff is a big problem that's worrying him.

More info on me: I'm directing the musical version of "Metropolis" in Salem, Oregon---and Forry was hoping to come up to see the show. He's the man I first learned about the film from, and several times our lives have touched, including the time he was the Guest of Honor of a production of "R.U.R." that I directed in Hollywood. It was the potential for a magical full circle, having Forry see this new version of "Metro" which is the showcase production of an up-coming Broadway staging of the muscal. I'm very upset at the moment, not knowing what Forry's status is. I'll send out email inquiries, but am hoping to hear news here also--
