if you can put up with riding on a high-crime, modern drunk tourist transport, tuberculosis-infested smelly tuna can filled with illegal Mexicans starring 13-year old girls up and down, drug dealers, drug addicts, the homeless, unemployed, pedophiles, bank robbers, rapists, you get the idea, then by all means go for it.

According to the Toronto Star, GM has pulled the ads, and has apologized. The ads were done by McLaren McCann, who did the 1999 series of ads trashing transit as well. GM claims head office never signed off on the series, and they are unsure what, if any, sign off process was followed.

Speaking as someone who works in advertising, I have a hard time believing this all happened without sign-off, but at least the blasted ads are down.
