I don't know about story of the year -- I'd give that to the big-convoluted-mouse-brain piece -- but this is an incredibly HOPEFUL story. My teeth are pretty OK, really, but the thought of getting brand new ones instead of crowns is really cool. And never needing dentures . . . wow.

Less useful monstrosities coming soon:

* Dog eyes grown in weasel's ear.
* Weasel testicles grown in otter's armpit
* Otter liver grown in dog's eye socket.

I wanted it to say "Scientists grow *bluetooth* in rat's intestine." That would be even better.

A radio-mediated Rat Swarm. Hmmmm. Next thing you know they'll be spelling out GIVE US THE CHEESE with their bodies.

1. Hockey players
2. Brits
