I first came across the Fugs back in 1988 (or thereabouts) as a mention in the Illuminatus Chronicles by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea. I managed to find some of their music the following year, and still listen to them.

My favourite album has to be "It crawled into my hand, honest" but I am not sure which individual song I would count as my personal favourite though... there are so many good ones.
