Cool site, one nit:
How come the first photo under "Manufacturing, Light" claims it's from 1918, but the picture has flourescent light fixtures in it? Maybe the workers pictured _started_ working in 1918?
The caption says:
Gilbert & Bennett Mfg. Co One hundred years of progress 1818-1918 1918 self-published/ Georgetown CN pg. 83 The 2 employees with the longest continous service at the Blue Island mill are James Jones at the left and Frank Kedrowski at right both with 48 years of service.
