 I certainly believe it bothered him.

But it seems to me like his OSAF/Chandler project was something of a conflict anyway.

 If we can somehow mandate the use of digital rights management and get Microsoft involved in TIA, then we should be reasonably safe. That's a joke about the reliability of microsoft products, btw.

How Big Brother chose 'Groove' for TIA (Apr2001 press release)<br>I have to explain this because I can't find a comprehensive link.<br>A recent NyT article dropped the bombshell that Poindexter's<br>nightmarish eye-in-the-pyramid scheme has been prototyped using XML<br>and Groove, the uber-Net-savvy, weblog-aware successor to Lotus Notes.<br>The press release and this WashPost article hint how the relationship evolved.<br>PS: part of the 'AI' (it's transparently fungible!) is from Veridian. [speculation]
