Reading these notes on Palladium, I wonder how this stuff will ever work in terms of a backup/disaster recovery scenario. If the secure processor which contains the private keys for the machine is damaged, what happens?

If I buy a bunch of digital music and then my computer gets fried (say, power surge), does that mean my digital music collection was just lost forever? Bleh, no thanks!

And for corporate use, the fact that people could have documents that become unusable if the computer has a hardware failure seems totally unacceptable in all but the most limited circumstances.

But I haven't thought too much about this. Is there a simple workaround I'm missing? You store all content on two servers or something?
