Great sign. Looks like the Deep Cove area of North Vancouver. Lived there for a few years and this makes me very nostalgic.

Man, this is why I want to move to Canada...you'd never see that sign here in Newark, NJ.

"Dog Guardians" sounds like a council of super-powered humane society agents.

I think it was issue #37 of Dog Guaradians where Rowlf-X (the one with the deathray collar) was killed saving The Pound from the evil minions of Attac-Cat.
It's a collector's edition.

Musashi ( /m2) Don't give up hope for Newark. NYC Parks Dept uses "Don't even think of parking here" signs, and humorous dog owner Daniel Pinkwater lives nearby, in Hoboken.

Reminds me of a sign I saw on a store in Kitsilano a while ago that said NO DOGS OR PETS.
I assumed it was intended for people and literate stray canines.

That's Deep Cove all right!
I used to live there as well, right on the corner of Gallant and Panorama. We had a wonderful view of the cove.
That sign is fairly new, as it didn't exist when I moved away in 2001. I have a dentist appointment there tomoorw, I'll have to check it out. =)

Huh, I just pedalled down the block to take this picture: That's Issaquah, WA. Wonder if they asked Mr. Stewart for permission...
