defacements of taleban.com have happened more than once in the last few weeks, no direct connection to the tragic events this morning.

I thought what we went through here in Oklahoma City was the worst it could get. Or at least, that was my hope.
Truly, there is much more evil in the world than most of us are aware of.

a passenger on the plane that crashed in PA called 911 from the bathroom and tried to convince operators it wasn't a joke call, i'm willing to guess that he was able to, after convincing them, describe the hijackers and authorities are aware of those that did this, i would further assume the general descriptions of the hijackers have caused those on high to place a gag order on polititions regarding "let's go to war" type statements, i would suppose if these things are true those hijackers were of domestic origin...

waiting in horror to see what kind of backlash this creates for civil libertites, the taliban has condemned the attack and states they aren't in a position to be able to carry out such an attack, while the plausibility of that is up for grabs (a small group of funded and well trianed individuals can do all sorts of mischevious actions), is it likely they would have done it? No one yet has thought to look into the potential signifigance of the date.....september(9) 11th, 911, also the date that william wallace(braveheart) defeated the british who by all accounts should have snuffed him and his little band, this attack also provides an excellent distraction from the impending economic downturn and provides a great reason for jingoism/nationalism and a crack down on civil liberties and fringe groups,...fuck this sucks

It's certainly never a good idea to jump to conclusions.
But in this case: The World Trade Center has been an obsession with Middle Eastern terrorists for a long time.
Of course, maybe the PETA folks finally went _too far_.
