Yes, that sounds about right. The zeppelin dock might be impractical -- high winds -- but a memorial garden on the 110th floor setback might be nice. Hmmmmm, what else:

* Variable opacity windows with photovoltaic awnings.
* Peregrine falcon rookeries.
* Windows that open, even if just a little.
* Public pool and gym . . . every 50 floors.
* Piezoelectric stairs.
* Stone panels between the windows engraved and set with glass beads that illuminate when hit with light from below. Coordinated color light system would allow sides of building to display animated light shows and works of art.
* Chrome. Lots of chrome.

How about one 200 story deco skyscraper (with a zeppelin mooring tower, or course) that put the Chrysler Building to shame?

Idea:

NYC gathers up and melts down all those chunks of steel, glass and aluminum.

Turns them into official fund-raising souvenirs. Gruesome memoribilia. But each overpriced tchotke puts money in two funds:

One to aid the victims.

One to put a down payment a new tower. The largest in the world by half. Not International Style this time, but gloriously Art Deco. Something that screams "New York" and "TRY AGAIN YOU FUCKERS, WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY."
